About Shalom Restoration Project

The Shalom Restoration Project was born out of God’s deep compassion for Haitian refugees living in extreme poverty. Our mission is to proclaim the good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives, release prisoners from darkness, and comfort all who mourn (Isaiah 61:1–2).

We are committed to praying and laboring to bring the joy of the Lord to these forgotten people—individuals without human rights or legal status, many of whom survive by working in landfills, earning around $80 a month. The situation has become increasingly difficult, as the Dominican government continues to intensify deportations of Haitians to Haiti—a place that, for many, is no longer home. They are being sent to a country ravaged by violence, instability, and poverty, where they often have no family, no home, no jobs, and no sense of security.  We aim to provide support, resources, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families to overcome various challenges, promoting hope, healing, and empowerment through the faith in Jesus.

In this great commission, we are honored to partner hand-in-hand with our sister mission organization, B2M (babytomom.com), sharing in a vision established and sustained by the power of Jesus Christ.
